Celebrate the season with the brilliant sounds of brass at the inaugural Holiday Brass Sarasota concert!

For the first time, this beloved concert tradition is coming to Florida’s Gulf Coast, bringing together outstanding brass musicians from across Southwest Florida and beyond and featuring Dr. Robyn Bell, the dynamic director of the Pops Orchestra of Bradenton and Sarasota and guest conductor of Monarch Brass.

Audiences will enjoy an uplifting evening of holiday favorites, bold brass arrangements, and the warmth and sparkle of the season—all performed by an exceptional ensemble of professional musicians.

The Holiday Brass concert tradition began in 1992 under the leadership of Susan Slaughter, retired principal trumpet of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. Today, concerts are presented in communities throughout the country in support of the International Women’s Brass Conference. Proceeds help fund scholarships, new musical commissions, competition prizes, and programs that advance and celebrate women brass musicians.

Set against the festive backdrop of Sarasota’s vibrant arts community, Holiday Brass Sarasota reflects an exciting collaboration between IWBC and The Pops Orchestra, promising to become a new seasonal tradition for music lovers of all ages.
